"A" Frame - a big step ladder with straight bit sticking out of the top - not used much now, safets regs and all that (US)

Afro - a foam microphone windshield (US)

Anvil - a flightcase - a well known US brand

Belgium - an upside down flightcase, i.e., with it's wheels in the air.  To "Belgium" a case is to turn it on it's back to stop it moving around in the truck. 

Belgian stage crew, Belgian humpers - Incompetent or absent stage crew. From a supposed reluctance of Belgian crew to work with Brits after Heysel Stadium disaster 29th May 1985 when rioting Liverpool fans caused collapse of stadium and 39 deaths.(UK)
