just seen this movie - loved it, although it is of course dependent on what you want from a Woodstock story.  Ang Lee's latest focuses on the side story and captures the 'experience' of Woodstock rather than the music - lots of cliches, lots of colour, lots of peace & love, drugs & nakedness - a real feel good movie! click here for full cast & crew details and trailers...  UK release date 13th November.

- No authentic Woodstock footage was inserted into the film. According to director Ang Lee all the crowd and concert footage was shot specifically for the film.

- According to The Washington Post, screenwriter and producer James Schamus told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival that the biggest challenge in casting extras for the film was to find people "who were not working out all the time, and who still had pubic hair."
