Where would i use an iPad?
I have a Macbook Pro and and iPhone. I am greatly considering buy a monitor and keyboard for the MacBook Pro. A friend of my just got an ipad and i typing on it right now (He would kill me) and it is truly awesome. If I get the monitor attachment for my laptop I don't think i would ever use it as a laptop again and I love it. If I were to buy an iPad the only place where i can see it living is in my loft, any other ideas?

It certainly doesn't filter down to wages for average crew people, in my experience these have remained pretty static over the last 15 years and have in some cases gone down.
Nor does it seem to go to band fees, at least for those at the lower end of the foodchain.
Many acts are still playing for nothing or in dubious competitions where they are expect..." rel="follow">

Wages have always been a problem, would be great to always get "top dollar" but in my experience if you want to keep working you have to take what you can get. So on small tours you have to take what's in the budget or not do the gig." rel="follow">

After a while, you get stuck with all the variable high pass, gates, comp and parametric EQ even on low end consoles like the Presonus Studio Live (which I like). Makes it difficult to go back to a simple analog desk which seems now like an "open channel" factory..." rel="follow">

It looks a bit like Spotify, except only with adverts they think you'll like. It's not live in the UK yet, but here's a statement of some sort from someone involved:

I was recommended "signing up" to this very usefull looking site but I quickly discovered it's on invitation only and stupidly didn't get the number for the helpful chap who pointed me towards it. Is anyone on this forum on crewspace and can invite me, or are users guided towards only recommending crew they can vouch for 100% or have at least met and worked well with?" rel="follow">

My friend Andy is still wearing a Tasmin Archer t-shirt from 1993. He did design and commission them so he's got a few if anyone's interested. They didn't sell particularly well as the writing was so small and dark brown against a black t-shirt. if he'd been able to do one with black writing against a black background he would have done.
Anyway, it has kept its colour, has no holes and hasn't lost its shape. It made us wonder what is the oldest tour t-shirt that anyone is using regularly,..." rel="follow">
